This week, we at NorthStar Industries are thrilled to share an exciting update from the site of a new Fire Hall in the Greater Toronto Area. The installation of our trench drain system is currently underway, and we’re proud to have been a part of the design and supply process for this significant project.
In the accompanying photo, you can see the trench that has been expertly set up, ready for concrete to be poured in the coming days. This project features an impressive 45 meters of trench drain along with several catch basins, marking an important milestone in the construction of a facility that will serve and protect our community for years to come.

For this particular Fire Hall, we supplied our robust 8-inch wide Trench Drain Channels, paired with Hot Dipped Galvanized Ductile Iron Grating. Fire Chiefs and Facility Managers appreciate the durability and aesthetic appeal of the HDG grate. It resembles stainless steel but offers superior resilience against the high traffic these stations experience daily, ensuring both functionality and style.
