At NorthStar Industries, we are happy to share an exciting update from our recent visit on Wednesday to the bustling construction site of Downtown Unionville. As part of the revitalization of the main street, we had the opportunity to check on the progress of a project that incorporates our beautifully designed Iron Age Design RAIN Design Tree Grates and Reinforced Tree Grate Frames.
From the very beginning, we’ve been deeply involved in the design phase of this project, collaborating closely with the Project Designer to address the specific requirements for a durable and aesthetically pleasing tree grate system. Unionville sought a solution that could withstand the weight of cars and snow removal equipment while also complementing the historic charm of the downtown area. Our Technical Team worked alongside the Landscape Architect and the Design Firm to develop a frame and grating system that not only meets these needs but also adds visual appeal to the streetscape.
During our visit, we saw the ongoing installation of our tree grates as contractors worked diligently to plant new trees along the main street. Although the project is still in progress, it’s already evident that the combination of our Iron Age Design RAIN Tree Grates and the reinforced frames will serve the community well for years to come.
